COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
TURKEY BREAST

Preheat oven to 200º.

Place turkey breast skin side up in lightly oiled pan and season if desired. 

Cover top lightly with foil. 

Add 400 ml water to the pan (approx 2 cm) and bake according to weight.

Remove foil and prick breast with fork 20 mins before end to brown.

Note: Times are a guide only.  Turkey is ready if juices run clear when thickest part of turkey is pierced with a skewer.

1kg - 40 mins
1.5 kg - 1 hour
2.0 kg - 1 hour 20mins
2.5 kg - 1 hour 40 mins

5 kg - 2 1/4 hours covered, 1 hour uncovered
5-6 kg - 2 3/4 hours covered, 1 hour uncovered
6-8 kg - 3 1/2 hour covered, 1 hour uncovered
